OHS General Induction for Construction Work in NSW

This course satisfies the OHS General Induction course requirement of the Code of Practice Occupational Health and Safety Induction Training for Construction Work. It provides participants with general OHS knowledge and skills in the first of three areas of OHS induction training appropriate to construction work and OHS, workplace injury management and workers compensation legislation.
This course should assist in the development of appropriate attitudes to enable employees to effectively participate in the prevention of workplace injuries and illnesses.

Course duration:

5 hours plus breaks

Course numbers:

Up to 20 persons maximum

Training Venue:

At your site or at a suitable venue with appropriate seating / facilities.

Course requirements:

Appropriate identification (contact office for details)

Occupational Health and Safety Consultation.

This course is designed for OHS committee members and OHS representatives. It aims to familiarise participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to apply the principals of workplace OHS consultation as an integral part of an effective OHS management system (OHSMS). The course should also assist in the development of appropriate attitudes to enable OHS committee members and OHS representatives to effectively carry out their functions under OHS legislation.

Course Duration: 4 x 6 hour days plus breaks.
Course numbers: Up to 16 persons maximum
Training Venue: At your site or at a suitable venue with appropriate seating / facilities.
Course requirements: Appropriate identification (contact office for details)

(Training does not have to be delivered in one block, once started, the training must be completed within 8 weeks)

We also provide a One day refresher course; this course also incorporates any legislative changes or responsibilities to the OHS Act and Regulation.
