WorkCover Licensing for High Risk Work

From 1 September 2009, WorkCover NSW has implemented the National Standard for Licensing Persons Performing High Risk Work (National Standard).

It is a legislative requirement for employers to provide structured training for those who are required to undertake a license class identified under the High Risk Standard, by undertaking a nationally Recognised Training course facilitated by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO). The National Standard requires trainees to complete the Nationally Recognised course for the classed listed below. Once the trainee has reached the required level of competence the RTO will arrange for a WorkCover Accredited Public Assessor to undertake the assessment for a High risk License.

Please contact the office from 8am to 4pm for more information.
